One good way to avoid contamination is to make your own. Not as much sugar and cheaper, too. I bought mine at soymilkcrossroads.com

Thanks, I didn't know about that and Silk is my milk of choice, although I am a carton kind of girl, so hopefully haven't been contaminated.

I understand that they are owned by Dean Foods and that Whitewave also owns Horizon and other dairy-filled brands, but it doesn't seem like dairy should ever be that close to the soy products. For reasons like this...

Something that boggles my mind is what do vegetarians do if they were allergic to soy?
