    I went to a cooking class for pasta hosted by a woman who has trained in Italy and she prefers to mix the dough by hand...and then use her KitchenAid attachment to press it. That was pretty nifty. And fresh pasta is delicious, but alas, I'm still using the dried stuff. I am way, way too lazy to knead my own dough. :) I do usually make my own "gravy," though!

    ...you are truly Italian, simplicity is what good food is about, certainly using only fresh and quality ingredients, but perhaps a more generous amount of oil. Wat am I to dip my pane in?

    Wow thats still quite a bit of hard work in spite of all the gadgets :) But it sounds delicious and hearty :)
